We appreciate that everyone is different and as a result we can tailor a course of driving lessons to suit you. Whether you are looking to prepare for your driving test as quickly as possible or at a more relaxed pace we can organise a schedule to fit in with your other commitments.
We can also provide further driving instruction for those who have passed their driving test , by offering courses for PASS PLUS, Motorway instruction, refresher tuition as well as preparation for non UK / EU licence holders for the UK driving test. In addition we can offer driver tuition for those looking to take the Private Hire / Hackney Carriage DSA taxi test.
Learner lessons
Initially we need to know what previous driving experience (if any) you have and then design a schedule to suit you. We will also consider whether you are a confident or nervous driver and take the lessons at a pace to suit.
Weekly Lessons: With these lessons you pay the instructor at the start of each lesson either by cash or cheque (with a valid bankers cheque guarantee card). We recommend taking either one and a half or two hour lessons at least once a week as this provides the optimum learning time and best value for money. You can expect to receive a structured lesson with an objective at the start and a quick recap at the end of each lesson. A Progress Record form will be kept for you and the instructor to easily track your progress.
Block booking: As above (Weekly Lessons) just you pay for a Block of 10 hours in advance either by cash, cheque, postal order or debit / credit card by email invoice.
Intensive courses: You might decide that an intensive or semi intensive course is suited to your timescales. For more detailed advice on the the best way forward please call us on: 01275 544 445. We will tailor a course to suit you. In order to get a level of your prior experience we will ask you some questions at the initial enquiry and may suggest an assessment (chargeable at standard hourly rate and refundable upon booking a course).
PASS PLUS
The Pass Plus is a post learner test driving course to provide additional experience to new drivers. The course contains six (6) modules
- Town driving
- Out of town & Rural driving
- All weather driving
- Night driving
- Dual carriageway driving
- Motorway driving
I am sure you will be glad to read that there is not a test at the end of the course. It is up to the Pass Plus registered Instructor to sign the declaration that the course has been completed to a satisfactory level. The aim of the course is to increase driver experiences a new driver is less likely to be involved in an accident than someone who doesn take the course.
